Your vault.Any phone.
Vaultwize encrypts your private photos, videos and documents on your phone. It looks like an ordinary gallery, works the same on Android and iPhone, and needs no account.
Free to start. No ads, ever.
The bus test
Nobody looks twice.
On your home screen it is called Wize, with an icon of two photos. Inside, it looks and talks like a gallery. No padlocks, no alarms, and nothing on your lock screen.
Pro adds calculator, checklist, compass and converter icons.
Two views of the same files
Private by math, not by hiding.
Disguise apps tuck your files out of sight. Vaultwize encrypts each one on your phone before it is written, so a copy of the app's storage is unreadable without your code and a secret held in your phone's secure storage.

Find photos to move
Clear your camera roll in the first minute.
Passports, bank cards and contracts you photographed for convenience. Vaultwize finds them on your phone, shows you what it found, and moves only what you choose.
An original is deleted only after its encrypted copy is checked. Your photos stay on the phone; Google's ML Kit sends usage metrics, not images.
Portable by design
Change phones. Keep everything.
Back up to your own Google Drive, or to one encrypted file you can keep anywhere, even a USB drive. Restore on Android or iPhone with your 12-word recovery phrase.
Backup and restore are free. Backups hold encrypted data only: Google sees sizes, counts and times, and nothing else.

Other libraries
A second code opens a second library.
Each code opens its own library, and the app never shows how many exist. If someone makes you open it, show the one you prepared.
With Pro, an emergency code opens one library and erases the others from the phone. Their backups stay restorable with their own phrases.
Coming in v1.1 Trusted-contact recovery splits your recovery secret between people you trust. Two of three can bring your library back; one alone reveals nothing.
What Vaultwize will not do.
Every claim on this site has to be literally true, so here are the limits.
Pay for room, never for safety.
Backup stays free. If Pro lapses, nothing is locked away: your files stay readable and exportable.

Questions
Your 12-word recovery phrase is the way back in. You write it down during setup, and nobody else has a copy, including us.
No. Files are encrypted on your phone before they are written, and we run no server that stores or sees them. Purchases go through the app stores and RevenueCat, which receive purchase data, not your files.
A disguise only changes how an app looks. Vaultwize also has a disguise, but the protection comes from encrypting every file.
